Equestrian trail riding is a specialty recreational activity that connects the horse and the rider. Horses on trails must be able to endure long travel distances. Also, horses must exhibit a calm and obedient demeanor, such that they are not startled by wildlife. Trail riding with your horse takes a lot of hard work and conditioning. The trail can be a hard place both physically and mentally for you and your horse. It’s important to note that you should expect at least a month of conditioning with your horse before hitting the trail. However, there are some breeds that take only a few weeks of preparation.

A horse that’s good for trail riding is one that is trained to travel long distances, calm and obedient, and does not startle at streams, animals, or obstacles such as branches. A good trail riding horse has had adequate work and conditioning in order to handle trail rides physically and mentally. With some horses, it can take months, but some breeds do well as trail horses with only a few weeks of preparation.

Equestrian saddle, also known as horse riding saddle, is a seat used by a rider on the back of the horse. This seat is typically made of leather. It comes in many different types such as English saddles, Western saddles, Military saddles, Asian saddles and many others. In this article, I will be discussing about the Western saddles.

A Western saddle is a kind of equestrian saddle which refers to the one that is used on horses on working cattle ranches. Also known as a cowboy saddle, it is designed for security and comfort. This saddle is popular throughout the United States, particularly in the west. Western saddles are also used in different western riding activities today.

Dressage saddles refer to the seats fastened on the horses back, which are used by the riders in performing Dressage discipline. Dressage is a discipline that aims to develop the horses natural athletic ability and willingness to perform. It uses a standardized progressive training method. In a Dressage training or Dressage event, the rider commands the horse to perform a movement in a relaxed and effortless manner.
